@loresjoberg Funny that you are trying to write a novel in the 'Modern World' since most written fiction tends not to be modern because if you include a website, even one that is major and currently popular, you might end up with something like 'They all met on MySpace' and people won't even know what you're talking about.
Why not world build a fantasy world that is very similar to the modern world just with a few differences that come around when you write them?
"Now that you have your black belt you need to get your hands and feet registered as deadly weapons!"
I keep wondering when the police plan to start that registry and if it would be a who's who of 'Soldier of Fortune' subscribers.
@loresjoberg You echo a lot of my sentiments about Bakshi's animations. I wanted so much to like them as a teenager but they were hard to look at after an afternoon of He-Man, GI Joe and Transformers.
Have you ever checked out Scanimate? It's a late 70s/early 80s and I feel like it became the spiritual successor to rotoscope animations.
DVDA's Justice video is a homage to Scanimate transitions and is a video entirely of transitions.
@loresjoberg That list also says Toyman is 'The most iconic' but I always thought that went to Icon Man.
Also, the entry for Lobo is great. He is a character.... appearing in comic books. Wow. Observation station there.
