I create things in a wonderful place called the internet and sail boats on a lake between three countries.
I made hoodies for the three of us who are tinkering with this boat to celebrate season 50.
End of the #sailing season and packing away the sails in #theBoatyard . Very sad that I couldn’t fly the epic spinnaker this season.
I’m on it again modifying the first northwood paddle I made. I’m sad that I won’t get it down to 1kg without making it too brittle. But hey, reducing it by over 300g is something for a spruce paddle.
I’ll now oil it and do some stress testing at the lake. If it breaks I can spare the fine sanding and varnishing.
Made chilli oil yesterday. Put it on a piece of bread. First reaction: “well, it’s fine…” and 5 seconds later: “wuaaaaaaaaah, awesome!”
It’s also great on pasta.
Sitting on the boat, chilling a bit and checking that everything is fine for the 30kn gusts the next two days.
