Today's adventure took us out to the river to see what they meant by "flooding" this round. Can confirm, much water where generally there is none.
Sir Dingus (Rufus) was, as expected, unimpressed yet thoroughly excited.
Also, I may have found the one and only scenario where Chacos and khakis may not, in fact, be the right choice...even in Seattle.

I call them The Pillars of Retinal Destruction.
I spent a couple of hours today touring S. Seattle, visiting and photographing a handful of locations for my WIP novel. Besides today's amazing weather (well, after this mornings hail, of course), seeing some beautiful spots, and taking in some amazing views...I managed the whole trip without elbowing any Seattle Drivers™️ in the solar plexus.
So, win-win.
Erm...is there any universe where this is "comfortable?"
