@axwax @alexglow the nintendo switch cartridge form factor is pretty good. Probably not open enough.

Really enjoying digging through the free, downloadable knowledge bases on @kiwix ! This #OpenSource platform has apps for iOS, Android, desktop, etc. and pre-built images for #RaspberryPi . Great time to grab some offline #Wikipedia backups! 🔗 https://kiwix.org/en

So many cool packs – like #engineering, medicine, #cooking, climate, K-12 education, ice hockey, puzzles, and Chopin sheet music 🤩✨

@ScottE Hmm. I haven't done that deconflicting. My wifi has a high and a low channel (depending on the access point) and I haven't had many issues with zigbee. I use HA and zigbee was easy to set up and the devices were cheap and readily available (mostly from ikea).

@vkc LXC.

Just kidding. I like docker.

@mathiasx It is a good day to label.
@h2onolan How often do you disable it? I use AdGuard and every time I thought it was the problem, it wasn't.
@tkroo I have a similar thermostat and desire for offline functionality. I make Home assistant compute an average based on the rooms I care about and then compute an offset between the average and the local sensor in the thermostat. The thermostat copies the offset and if HA or wifi ever goes down, it will use the local sensor with whatever the last offset was.
@InstantArcade @timixretroplays messy desk, clear mind.
