Once the coloring is done, shading goes quickly. I think that's a wrap. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But I definitely learned a lot by being forced out of my comfort zone and I'm happy with the final results. That's a win for me.
No one else is going to notice this, but I like this part. I made the lenses transparent and will show whatever background is behind it in a semi-occluded way automatically. I think the effect looks great when I move a temporary background around in this video.
My instructor recommended that I increase the opacity of the clothes she's wearing because showing less is oftentimes more alluring than showing more skin. I think I'm going to keep it consistent with the companion piece, but I also think he's absolutely correct.
