@daringfireball fyi, I suspect you reworded something without changing a verb: ”If you watching video on Netflix,”

@daringfireball honestly, what struck me most about that blog post was that it hurt my head to see the screenshots displayed at the wrong aspect ratios (e.g. a 1678x850 image rendered at 743x964). Guessing this is how you feel when you see arial instead of helvetica. I even tried it without content blockers and in a different browser.

The content of the article was great (I had no idea about the client-side ad auctions. omg.)

I usually don't spend too much time silently yelling at my phone while listening to @atpfm, but it was crazy-making the sheer amount of time @marcoarment spent the lack of auto-resume of walk workouts.

I know this feature works, because I've seen a resume reminder as recently as this past week!

(every other complaint about the watchOS 26 workouts app is completely valid. It’s an awful regression)

@Moltz my sister’s husband died last week, which is when she found out what the fuck Kraken is. Now the questions are (a) can she find his password and (b) is any of the money he dumped into crypto worth something now? <sigh>
@hotdogsladies and I forgot to add this, but I know you're a Tanya Donelly fan (or at least her work with the Muses), but she had a lovely version of "Moon River" on a compilation album a while back. https://music.apple.com/us/album/sing-me-to-sleep-indie-lullabies/364684738

@hotdogsladies I'm catching up on last week's RotL because I spent last week skiing at Snowmass, one of the Aspen mountains. I kept skiing past the Spider Sabich Picnic Area and had no idea what it referred to.

Today, thanks to you and John, I know.

@kottke the best I can think of was probably Buckaroo Banzai
@kottke until I read the text I thought that was a photo of Ed Sheeran. I’m so confused.
@mschaffer @daringfireball to add a little color -- t-mobile does giveaways on tuesdays — MLB at bat, MLS on AppleTV, movie tickets, etc — and so they've always had a ton of downloads of the freebie app. They’ve recently combined it with their account management app.
