I got on the waitlist as soon as I heard that @medium started an instance. Excited to migrate over to https://me.dm - just in time for my birthday! 🥳

Fly Guy Pizza Pie and drinks from À La Carte Orlando while our kiddos enjoy a day with grandparents. We need to do this more often.
Welp. It was nice playing with AI in Notion for a bit. $10/mo? #ByeFelicia
We had a great turnout for last night's Downtown Orlando UX Meetup! It's so energizing to meet other people who are passionate about UX, learning from each other's experiences, and seeing new connections being made in our local tech community.

Enjoyed hearing @bencallahan's thoughts on Design Systems Cultures and how those align (or don't) with different company cultures. "Your job as a DS team is to change what your users *want* to make." #DesignSystems #SparkboxUnConf
Went out to draw some squiggly lines through the woods before starting work this morning. Any other #onewheel #trailriders out there?
I should know not to post a puzzle before a string of morning meetings, but @gary_bbgames and @SV80 both recognized the parts. It's the 2:3 ratio version of Emmett Lalish's classic Heart Gears model.

Turned out great! ❤️
Three Heart Gears by emmett

Just in time for Valentine's I've updated my Heart Gears. These use my new snap pin library, so they print more reliably and are much easier to assemble. I've also included three different gear ratios so you can choose how much frustration you wish to impart. Assembly instructions can be found in this video: http://youtu.be/O-qwmRwOpFQ Alternate instructions are here https://jig.space/viewer?jig=427, courtesy of greenlig. Pretty cool system for making interactive 3D instructions - check it out. I didn't make this design Customizer-friendly, because there aren't really changeable parameters. However, the OpenSCAD file has been rewritten and greatly simplified to make it easier to cut gears out of your own shape. I'm always excited to see new derivative gear mashups.

Looks like my overnight print worked out well. Any idea what I’m assembling? #3dprinting
