you know in a video game that has a bunch of icons? and you can toggle the guide or list of the icons on/off? does anyone know what that's called?

i've forgotten the name of it and google is being zero help. answers and boosts are MASSIVELY appreciated

that is to say, people on the internet have a startling lack of compassion. partly because of the disconnect, partly because they're asshole in digital or meatspace.

now is as good a time as any to remind yourself that a) not everyone is an asshat b) it's perfectly okay to disconnect if you need to. taking care of yourself > staying up to date on the news.
