There is plenty of blame to go around for another election cycle riddled with misinformation online. Big Tech is still unwilling to hold bad actors accountable, Congress is unwilling to step in and write new rules for the 21st century, and Republicans will continue to slander and lie to voters to make their case. Because of all of this, Democrats lose, and we need to acknowledge this reality and figure out new ways to communicate with voters on today’s internet.

"Free with most insurance" is NOT *free*, BTW.
Not unless EVERYONE -- particularly the poor, who are more subject than anyone else to be non-consensually crowded into spaces where diseases can easily spread -- has that insurance.
What is truly stupid about SELLING vaccines is that a major benefit of vaccination is to the OTHER people around you. It is a classic example of a PUBLIC good.
They should be free.
We can afford to do that.
We can afford to make most medical care free.
We're choosing not to, and for dumb, self-destructive reasons.

I spent half my life being told critical thinking skills were essential and then the country turned on a dime and said "no, not like that" as soon as we started talking about the material realities of bigotry and oppression.
Now it's, "We can't let white kids think about racism because they'll get the sads."
Metallica leader James Hetfield visited wounded Ukrainian soldiers in the hospital. The musician visited the Ukrainian military undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at the Colorado Vail Health Hospital. Kelly Rohrig from the Limbs for Liberty organization, which helps Ukrainian defenders who lost their limbs in the war, told about this on Facebook. Rohrig happened to spot Hetfield in the hospital parking lot. The woman suggested he visit the Ukrainian soldier Roman Denysiuk, who had fallen from a cart the day before and received another severe injury. Hetfield agreed, and after meeting with Denysiuk, he visited another Ukrainian patient, Ihor Voynoy. The musician wished the men luck and a speedy recovery.
