Newsflash 5.0-beta1 is now available on the flathub beta channel. The big new change is the new article view that renders all of its content as native gtk widgets.

Now that Gnome has notification grouping, what is your opinion regarding apps sending separate notifications for different information sources?
In the case of Newsflash this would mean 1 notification per feed and would also make it possible for the user to mute specific feeds from sending notifications.

Finally got around to tagging and releasing my side project of last year to flathub. It's pretty basic at the moment. But hopefully it's already useful to someone.

The picture is the last foto I took about a month ago: Shere Khan (orange) snuggling with his dad.
He was run over by a car yesterday. As if I needed another reason to hate those f***ing things.
I'm devastated.
I just hope you had a happy life since I adopted you from a shelter in 2020. I had a great time with you.

I was at #akademy Würzburg this year. I'm not particularly invested in KDE these days, but the event was just a 20 min bike ride away and I had a lot of fun. I volunteered to work at the info desk on Saturday to force myself to talk to people. KDE has a great community. I felt absolutely welcome.
On the second day I snuck in my old gnome ribbon. But nobody seemed to have noticed :D
An App idea I've been toying around with. It's just sting & duct tape behind the scenes for now.
Who knows what this is even supposed to be? 🤓
Papers, the (hopefully) soon to be default document viewer for gnome is now on flathub. I'm hyped!
