Join me as we dive into this code from over three decades ago for a fresh perspective and a retrospective peer review.
I'd love for everyone to add the pronunciation (in IPA) of their name to their online profiles. It feels strange to read peoples names without having any clue how to pronounce them. And Mastodon is super flexible with info on your profile, you can just add a field for it.
Being able to read IPA is such a fun skill, but I can't use it enough because nobody uses it. 😄

شنبه این هفته و بعد از ۵ ماه، دوباره فضاپیمای وویجر ۱ ارتباطش با زمین برقرار شده! 🛰️😍
این #فضاپیما ۳۵ سال پیش پرتاب شد و الان مدتهاست به طور رسمی از منظومه شمسی خارج شده و وارد فضای میانستارهای شده.
حالا قضیه این بوده که به دلیل نقص توی تراشهٔ حافظه، فضاپیما چند ماه پیش کلا از کار افتاده بود. گویا تونستن با یه دستوری محتوای حافظه رو از اونجا به #زمین ارسال کنن. بعد کاری که کردن این بوده که کد رو دوباره روی تراشه ریختن طوری که از بخش آسیبدیدهٔ تراشه استفاده نکنه.
فاصله وویجر ۱ از زمین بیشتر از «۲۴ میلیارد کیلومتر»ئه! در حدی دوره که نور (و هر پیامی که ازش میآد) ۲۲ ساعت طول میکشه به ما برسه!
ولی بلاخره بعد از پنج ماه و از اون فاصله، تونستن مشکل رو تا حدی رفع کنن و موفق شدیم که دوباره ازش پیام دریافت کنیم! ⚡
