@jochenwolters I’m issuing terminal quite a lot (and more now with all AI CLI tools). This year I’ve switched to Ghostty mostly for it being fast, lightweight and working well. I’ve used iTerm2 to a few years but it feels slower and I wasn’t using its power features much any so it was easy to switch to try a new one.

@chockenberry @marcedwards I do hope Apple fixed this since they are exactly what’s needed for Black Friday. But I have my fears.

@chockenberry @marcedwards exactly my experience a year ago, as I told. We could generate the codes but people mostly couldn’t redeem them. Search “already expired” on AppKit Abusers for that thread.

@marcedwards @chockenberry Recently heard about the same problem from another developer. But I agree with Craig, the email was confusing and could include the instructions. Or at least the link to the docs.

@marcedwards @chockenberry You can generate the codes with a single code (multi-use). App Store Connect shows a URL that you append the CODE to, to get a link that can be shared to redeem it. One problem is that, in my experience, for Mac apps it's a hit or miss. It used not to work for some customers for the same coupon code, but worked for others. So, alas, typical Apple quality. I was for days on call with Dev Support last Black Friday, and they couldn't identify the problem.
