AI corporations can't get your money, because most people don't want to pay for that. And they need a lot of money to justify their investment.
So they're going after government contracts, with their powerful network of lobbyists. That way, your government can give them your money anyway. To pay for that, they will very likely cut in public services.
If you don't want that to happen, email or call your government representatives.
As we round out 2024 and go into 2025, I'd just like to remind everyone to look to the future, so you don't wind up like GitHub, which still doesn't support IPv6.
Saying No and refusing to use unethical tools and platforms can be a powerful way to protest.
Do not minimize the power you have in refusing to participate.
