The weather’s a little stormy tonight — the anemometer’s currently going like the clappers recording 30mph+ gusts.
Unfortunately there seems to be a glitch with the screen’s WiFi feature, though, so I can’t hook it up to one of the online monitoring services yet.
Fingers crossed that it can be repaired or replaced. Probably the latter, sadly.
When I receive Christmas and/or birthday money, I’m determined not to let it be absorbed into the mire of boring old bills.
I bought a weather station with this year’s Christmas money — something I’ve wanted for a long time.
I fitted the sensor array outside earlier (I’ll photograph it tomorrow) and now I ’m obsessed with (yet) another thing!
Couldn’t resist photographing the screen at 20:23 too. 🤓
I wonder how many 40°C+ days it’ll record this year…

One of the things I love most about Christmas? Making time to meet up with friends I may not have seen in a while.
Nothing like a natter over a cuppa. This local café’s called Heaton Perk, by the way — I couldn’t get a picture with the whole word in it!
Finally cobbled a new shelter for the tok-toks complete with camo tarpaulin!
#Chickens really don’t like change, so they’ll probably reach old age before they even dare to use it. 😅
Still, at least it’s ready in time for the rain later in the week.
Speaking of which, it’s -1°C here in The Toon today. Tomorrow it’s forecast to be 13°C, a difference of +14°C within the space of a few hours in the Northern Hemisphere in December.
I sure hope more people wake up to the #ClimateCrisis.
