LA City Attorney Hydee Feldstein Soto has a lot of nerve to attend a journalism event and tweet about it, while seeking a prior restraint against reporter Ben Camacho, who simply received and published photos Soto's own office gave him. Soto is also lobbying for public employee identities to be secret. Soto should do the right thing and drop the suit and stop the lobbying.

I wrote for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on the #ysl trial and the choice prosecutors made to make #YoungThug’s rap lyrics the central focus of a massive RICO trial. This brings racial bias into the courtroom and has dangerous free speech implications for everyone.
