My day of gratitude starts with having a grandmother’s recipe, a little time, and a nice kitchen to bake this cherry pie for sharing at the family event today.
Also the first holiday music to pop up was the Bare Naked Ladies and Sarah McLachlan - “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”. Being not always so merry nor gentlemanly, at least this pie may earn me a welcome place at the table.
Hot tip: When passers by give you “the finger”, shout in unison, We’re number one!
