I was on a fairly boring evening constitutional and I stumbled on a drum set. It was missing a throne and sticks. Then I got it all plugged in… didn’t work…. Swapped the headphones and it’s _perfect_. Easiest street repair yet.

I got to celebrate my first Holi today with kid#1's elementary school class. I don't really share pics of my kids (and doubly other people's kids) but it was a blast. I feel lucky that my kid's school is so cross cultural and that we get invited to stuff.

The bike parking near my neighborhood grocery is about 30 meters from the boundary of the shopping carts. This trick has always worked for me, I keep the site bookmarked, even though its infinitely easy to remember.

Abhijit Menon-SenI made an adjustable A1 drafting table for my workshop. It's ugly, but it does work as intended: I can keep it in this position to draw on, and then move it up so that it hangs flat against the wall, which makes it easier to read the plans while executing them.
