@afeinman Huh. I'm on an iPhone 16 Pro and can't replicate it. Hitting backspace repeatedly feels very instantaneous to me. But I'll keep digging. Thanks for the report!
@afeinman That's not expected behavior. Are you in “zoomed-in" mode or normal mode? In zoomed-in mode there's an automatic pan that lasts about 180ms, which might feel longer. And if you're swapping out an existing letter, there's a letter-swap animation that might add a feeling of lag. And if you have word-highlighting on, there may be something else going on.
