Found this piece while vacuuming out the knee.
I have no idea where it belongs at one time, but I don't think it will ever end up there again.
Surprises from inside the knee of my mill as I took off the saddle. Makes me wonder if the previous owners cleaned this thing ever. They definitely hit the one shot a couple times a day.
Started taking apart the mill I picked up last year to finally get it up and running at my house. To give you an idea how messy this thing is this is the bracket that attached the DRO's glass scale electrics to the saddle. When I removed the electrics from the bracket I thought it was welded on until it fell off about 20 minutes later.
You get excited about obtaining new tools, I get excited about getting my home workshop as close to OSHA compliant as I can. We are not the same. (and neither of us is broken)
