Hi #fediverse. We need to talk about something.

While talking to a colleague about how I recently learned most people have never sat on a cow it came up that she has never sat on a horse. Like, not even once during childhood.

Another colleague admitted they also have never sat on a horse.

My hypothesis is that most people have at one point in their life sat on a horse.

Have you sat on a horse?

Okay Mastodon, do your thing!

I'm looking for recommendations for audiobooks 😁

Preferably simple enough that I can keep up while doing other stuff at the same time, but not so simple that I get bored,

The last series was Skullduggery Pleasant, if that helps.

I'm curious to know what people think about Anthropic's claim that Claude found 500 high-severity vulnerabilities in open-source packages. Has anyone confirmed that these vulns were indeed high-severity and hadn't been discovered before? Is this development as big a deal as Anthropic says? Any other critiques?

Can we stop with the rose colo(u)red glasses? A gigantically biased meme and thought by the older generations is supposing the world is getting dumber. They do know the world is made up of their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, right? #generationscoldwar
Celine Dion has come out in support of farmers by removing all the consonants from her name.

Sometimes feeds can be strangely meta.

@masek The sad thing is, the U.S. helped South Korea build these institutions.
@europesays Just in case anyone is activating their biases, this doesn't mean she is not in favor of "right to repair"; there were questions over the information available to independent repair shops in the vetoed bill.
