I'm #mum of three kids, most of the time single-parenting. I love life-long learning and can't imagine ever stopping to learn something new every day.
Currently dabbling in #gamedev, #sailing, doing a #PhD. Occasionally #3dprinting, messing with #RPi and electronics and #sewing.

I needed some peace and my garden had my back.

We went to the UK Board game Expo over the weekend and naturally came home with some new games, two of which have already proved to be new favourites. So highly successful!
BUT there is no space in the shelves. Some destashing has to happen.
What is the mastodon/fediverse way of selling stuff, in particular board games?
Is there a separate app or are people doing it via mastodon? Are there hashtags I should add? What is the done thing?

Our polling station had the number 67 in it. The kids were delighted!

Feeling down today.
The house next door is being turned into an HMO.
The flytipping hot spot which was finally being cleared has received a new "load".
My husbands flights got cancelled, yay to no break of solo parenting.
On the plus:
I'll finish early today and have a swim.

And they are done. I run out of yarn during the second one, so hat to frog the first and messed up the counting, so there are not slightly different in length. But the recipient loves them anyway.
Reminder to myself: I dont like knitting flat if the actual thing is round.

I am writing up my PhD.
But I also have a broken printer at home. So technically I have most parts to build a pen plotter. Which I should absolutely should do, right?

I would do a ton differently next time (first up, make it a point and click) and I might come back to it at some point to make it into the game it deserves to be, but I am happy with this prototype.
