Yesterday, together with Wolfgang Nestler, we opened his storage in display at Haus Amstenrath in Eynatten (Belgium). The exhibition space is open to visitors by appointment. Under the title SCHLÄNGELNDES ECHO, Martin von Almen and Conni Ottinger provided musical accompaniment to the works, and later Paul Damiano and Katharina Richter danced in dialogue with Nestler’s pole sculptures. Yesterday we visited Kunstmuseum Karlsruhe formerly known as Städtische Galerie Karlsruhe. They not only have a great collection but also really thought about their youngest visitors. Great kids area with a lot to discover.

Yesterday, we hosted Walter Schulz, who presented his book about Hari Hünerbein, his grand-grandmothers older brother, who left Eupen, with parts of her savings, lived in Cologne and only came back once to give the money plus interests back to his sister. Her family survived WW1 with that money. The book put the flashlight on those, who usually are just forgotten. Yesterday 130 curious art lovers attended the opening of Wolfgang Nestler's "Werdeformen" at IKOB museum in Eupen. It was a great experience seeing his work which sometimes date back to the 70s looking contemporary and still giving proof to the facto, that art doens't need an academic title to be understood.

Yesterday members and friends of IKOB Museum visited the Eupen City Museum and saw a great exhibition about women who faught the nazis. As usual those histories are rarely told and therefore this exhibition is not only important to rewrite history but also for the future. There is place to resist. There is hope. And the good will always win! This is what the exhibition told us ... Thanks to Catherine Weishaupt for their insights and for doing this exhibition .

Yesterday our director gave the opening speech at "Raum für Kunst" in Aachen/ Germany. Tanja Mosblech and Andrea Rademacher-Mennicken are a perfect example for two artist joining forces, leaving their egos behind while cooperating in a very honest and productive way. An exhibition worth visiting!
