In this reading is Heaven, as it sure would be cruel to uncontacted tribes and whatever otherwise.

@anulahtinen

Hyvä sana miekkarikylttiin. Kiitos.

Tosiaan luottokortti, niin tili voi olla tyhjänä. Kunhan muistaa maksaa luottokortin laskun kuun lopussa, ettei lähde korot pyörimään.

Itsellä on ykköskorttina S-Pankki, jossa myös pankkitilit. Kakkoskorttina on Stockmannin Mastercard (Nordean järjestelmässä). Siitä kätsä että toisin kuin lähes kaikki suomalaiset luottokortit, niin kummastakaan näistä kahdesta ei mene kuukausimaksua.

Well, depends on the merchandise, I suppose?

But I'd say if you're old enough to have a credit card (for HBO Max), or engage in piracy, you are probably also old enough to not need pencils for school etc.

That being said, I'm personally not much into purity tests, and generally don't bother people who write fanfiction, commit piracy, participate in larps with the serial filed off, etc.

@notyourfanboy @maxleibman

The whole argument reminds me a lot of my childhood.

Something about how having heard of the Christian God but refusing to be baptized meant going to Hell. But if you haven't heard of CGod, you get to go to Heaven (ofc ymmv).

Was always baffled what kind of an asshole would thus go to evangelise: you know you're not going to end every elevator pitch with a sale, so what you're actually doing is sending people to Down Under.

@Johns_priv @maxleibman

(You can pirate the merchandise, too.)

@osma

Just to be clear: I wasn't arguing for ID-checks.

@GGMcBG

To start with, I think we may be different generations. The comics I read were originally printed between late 1980s and early 2000s. The character is undoubtedly written differently today.

(I have very vague idea of who The Cosmic Ghost Rider is.)

There's also no shame in not liking or "getting" something.

But to give you my personal opinion, at its best Punisher is similar to a Jason Statham -film: it's not supposed to make a lot of sense, only to look cool.

@GGMcBG @MaryAustinBooks

Not much of a fan of Punisher either*, but the point of "good" characters isn't that they play well with other "good" characters, only that you can write interesting stories with them.

Separate discussion is should the "rules of the universe/plot armour" apply similarly to all characters, or given allowances for their personal situations.
