#askatp pre-current phone, my Personal Hotspot was bad, I just used cable. I set up the new iPhone as-new, without migrating, and connecting is much more reliable and faster now. However, the hotspot often stays on when I put my MacBook Pro in my backpack - sooner or later, I notice the green link icon in the Dynamic Island. Has this happened to you? BTW, I tried a few combinations of the checkboxes in Wi-Fi Settings as advised in support apple com / 109321, but the hotspot never auto-joins.

I think one of you @marcoarment @caseyliss have one of these and I've just had an idea on how to use it

@caseyliss #askatp all my previous cables, both Lightning and MacBook chargers were completely fine. This is the first time it went bad. So much for “added durability” - but maybe it was just a bad batch.
