Not far back my employer rolled out, to massive fanfare, all the Microslop CowPileIt shit. Such excitement! Going to make everything so much better!

Watching the posts slowly shift to realizations that it's absolute crap is the best damn entertainment one could ask for.

Today in tech facepalms:
Explaining to the person who gzipped up a file being written to by a running process on a prod server that its 454KB size wasn't what was filling up /tmp.
The reason /tmp was full was another dumbass copying their bloated home directory to that location....on a damn production server.
All hands today contained the "use the AI or you'll get left behind" shit.
Dude, I've been trying to get people to keep up for over 20 years. This isn't going to fix that issue.
