Since everyone is coming with predictions about LLMs, here's mine - if hallucinations are removed, and we come to a point that every prompt writes the exact right code you need - I predict the hype will swiftly die out and nobody will care about doing code with LLMs shortly after
But hey, who could knew that putting the VP of Marketing of facebook (2012-2023) in charge of Mozilla's new ad division would led to the very predictable outcome of Firefox becoming just another panopticon selling your personal data uh? WHO COULD HAVE SEEN THIS COMING
