#AI can write code. But it can’t fix broken pipes, install cooling systems, or power a 500MW data center.

While Claude Opus 4.5 represents significant technical progress, the industry faces an emerging "evaluation crisis" where benchmark improvements are increasingly difficult to translate into tangible user benefits. The new "effort" parameter and efficiency gains suggest a shift toward more practical, cost-effective AI deployment rather than just raw capability improvements.

Another #bangalore days, another infrastructure disaster
Left hand u-turns should not exist in a country which drives on the left hand side. I am sorry, I will not be able to make this call, I have to pick up my kid from school.

Can we move this call an hour, I have my personal errands?

Like I needed to hide the fact that I have a life outside my calendar.

The truth is:
Setting #boundaries isn’t a weakness. It’s emotional maturity.

And prioritizing your wellbeing- as a parent, a human isn’t “unprofessional” It’s actually what helps you perform better at work.

If I have a team member who proudly said he had sent his wife away to her place while she was pregnant to give birth and boasted that he hadn’t even seen his baby’s face yet, a month since the birth, because "work was too important right now." - I will fire this guy

Stop scrolling past those "laptop on the beach" photos. They're a myth. I analyzed a discussion from a group of 10+ year digital nomads, and here's the real story:

• You can't work on a beach (glare, sand, privacy).
• It's not a vacation (it's a job that requires more discipline).
• It can be incredibly lonely and legally complex.

The #digital nomad #lifestyle is a masterclass in self-discipline and logistics, not an endless #holiday. It's time we discussed the reality of this trend.
