I’m not a fan of the “professional network” model but perhaps it’s time to shape a more prominent alternative. Be it a platform, a format or simply some convention for posting. #LinkedIn is just a data farm now anyway.
It's wild that #LinkedIn hasn't stopped the extension scanning after being exposed. Instead, they're just suing the researchers. Classic #Microsoft.
Microsoft is running one of the largest corporate espionage operations in modern history. Every time any of LinkedIn’s one billion users visits linkedin.com, hidden code searches their computer for installed software, collects the results, and transmits them to LinkedIn’s servers and to third-party companies including an American-Israeli cybersecurity firm. The user is never asked. Never told. LinkedIn’s privacy policy does not mention it. Because LinkedIn knows each user’s real name, employer, and job title, it is not searching anonymous visitors. It is searching identified people at identified companies. Millions of companies. Every day. All over the world.
Me getting back to work after weeks of not:

I just stumbled on this song. While studying words from the lyrics I realised it talks about a bot named Anna but then I realised the song is from 2006…. it’s an IRC bot!!! 😲🤩🎶

Working to get this out soon, so not on the live server yet.
The idea is to let the community search for climbs to train on.
The initial data is coming from race data but the system is capable of identifying places where people train frequently (this will be opt-in for users who want to participate). I think it will be nice to have a searchable catalog of categorised #trailrunning climbs.
