Mainly an excuse to learn how to use Astro and to push my self to publish a bit more.
Since this is a private system, I don’t have pressure about the kind of items I log in there. There’s a mix of fiction books, graphic novels, but also books I’ve read for work.
Wiki links allow me to add as much information as I want to any book. Often these include some thoughts but also quotes, or related books.
Often the simple things are the ones that work best.
Never mind databases, social networks, or dedicated apps: I’ve been keeping track of the books I read every year in a simple text note. It’s fast, reliable, and flexible.
I have a simple system to rate them: the score goes from (1) to (5), if I loved it I’ll add a ❤️, while (A) means abandoned and (R) is a re-read.
Someone enjoys the Dutch weather…
