@That_One_Guy When I worked in the engineering industry it was super important to the org that ppl arrive by 8am. Arriving a minute late is too much. So I was explained that in detail and was told that if I so much as want a coffee, it should be had before 8am. It was my choice to stay. I stayed…. I just adjusted my routine and I was on time. Maybe do have a matter of fact talk with the apprentice without needing HR.

This must be the day of really cool things... The University of Texas at Austin is launching a pilot program where students will offer #cybersecurity advice to small businesses free of charge.

University leaders say they hope the program, which is modeled after law-school clinics, in which student lawyers work pro bono, will eventually evolve into a 311-style service for companies grappling with cyberattacks to access free resources that the federal government cannot always provide.
