I really hope that mainstream support for OpenVPN DCO will make it more popular than WireGuard.
I understand that WireGuard got popular because it was kernel-mode and thus fast.
But it's a pain. Trying to find a settings mismatch is annoying. A broken connection can appear up.
Auto-configuring clients is just not there.
OpenVPN has it all built-in. And with DCO, it's fast.
love to see Codeberg getting all this attention recently as "just like github from ten years ago before it all went to shit" but that is overlooking the coolest and most unique thing about Codeberg: their governance model
you can sign up for an account on Codeberg, but you can also register to join the non-profit behind Codeberg and get the right to vote in the decision-making process for how the site should be run: https://docs.codeberg.org/getting-started/what-is-codeberg/#what-is-codeberg-e.v.%3F
Codeberg's greatest feature is ... democracy
