EDIT: Well the text is now out and it's as bad as you could imagine. It's not even just that you need to verify your age to access a website... operating systems must verify your age to let you *use a computer at all*
EDIT EDIT: Thanks to @Andres4NY for pointing out that it also holds responsible anyone who has any software shipped on the operating system of a computer, meaning FOSS developers eveywhere
Just a reminder: a bill title is not required to reflect a bill's contents.
Even a bill that makes it a capital crime to be a clown can have a title like "Clown Appreciation Act", etc.
Never trust a bill's title.
There are far too many zero-days in the law.
Most are known.
They are on the books, just waiting for weaponization.
Nothing will be done about them because lawmakers tend to be lazy and because they are advantageous to someone.
I wrote to Flock’s privacy contact to opt out of their domestic spying program:
"I am a resident of California. As such, and because you are subject to the CCPA, delete all information about me, my vehicle, and other household members from all of your databases. I do not give you permission to collect or store data about me, my vehicles, or my relatives, in any future situation.

They replied today:
