Dipping my toes into the fediverse pool
In 1996 I worked as a Data Technician for Chief Automotive Systems, gathering physical vehicle information to be published to the collision industry. I got to measure the EV1 in Detroit. It was a rather odd beast for the time, with a rear wheel width that was narrower than the front. I seem to recall that the entire belly of the car had covers in an effort to reduce drag.
Pretty epic view of the Aurora Borealis, much more intense than earlier this year in Nebraska.
