I did some retro hardware spring cleaning (mostly contact cleaning with Isopropanol) - 19 carts I cleaned today contain save batteries (2 NES, 7 SNES, 1 N64, 8 GameBoy, 1 GBA). These batteries were made between 1991 and 2003. They should be dead, empty multiple times over (CR2032 are rated for 5 years under good conditions)... How many are dead? ONLY ONE. Most still measure over 3V... I'm amazed.
