New podcast on the early history of Colonia Dignidad

In dem Beitrag zeige ich, wie sich Social-Media-Daten mit computergestützten Methoden – von Wortfrequenz- und N-Gramm-Analysen bis hin zu #NamedEntityRecognition mit #LLMs – auswerten lassen und diskutiere zugleich, welche Verzerrungen durch Datensätze, Methoden und Tool entstehen können.

Can we boost the factual accuracy of LLMs for historical research?
Within the @DigitalHistory project at @HumboldtUni , we built a Retrieval-Augmented Generation - #RAG pipeline processing 100,000+ @DerSpiegel articles (1940s–1970s). Through recursive chunking, vector-based retrieval, and targeted prompt design, we demonstrate how such a framework can be implemented for historical research.
