I’m pleased to share my first Society of Botanical Artists Diploma coursework🎨

Assignment 1 focused on drawing – tone, texture and accuracy. I’m especially pleased with my ivy illustration, and found the tutor’s feedback useful and relevant.

Cherry laurel leaf spot, likely caused by the fungus Eupropolella britannica. This fungus produces brown spots on the leaves, which are typically larger than those caused by other fungi responsible for cherry laurel leaf spot.
