New paintings this year. All done en plein air. Three from a marina near my house and one nocturne.

I went to the park today to paint the sunset over the river. It was a perfect evening for painting.

A beautiful night on the Tchefuncte. We were thinking about heading down to the lighthouse, but the road was flooded.

The rain stayed away, and I had a lovely evening painting on the dock along the Tchefuncte last night.

I burned up my last vacation day of the year yesterday. I worked on a commission last night that I can't share yet, and went painting in the morning and completed this little gem.

According to English grammar for several centuries, singular they/them is the correct pronoun for any person whose pronouns are not known to the speaker.
The only shift in more modern times is accepting (a) you don't know someone's gender unless they tell you, (b) you don't know someone uses pronouns traditionally associated with their gender, and (c) people who deviate from gender norms are people.
So the *grammatically* correct thing to do is use they/them until someone's pronouns are known.

I had a great morning painting in Monday. Traveled to Delacroix to get one last painting in before the St. Bernard Plein Air show coming up on December 11th. It will be a great group show with many talented artists.

I realized yesterday that I was supposed to start with an #introduction post. I am an #artist a #father and a #sailor. Kids come first. Then art. My paintings for the last 2 years have all been #pleinair landscape paintings. This one is from last night.

First post, might as well share one of my paintings.
