New blog post: two years of tracking my Long Covid with the Visible app, now with calendar heatmaps, ridgeline plots, change-point detection, and a menstrual cycle analysis that surprised me.
The short version: I'm getting better, and the data agrees.
Also built a browser app so other Visible users can explore their own data — runs entirely on your device. 💚
We've had a flurry of new tidymodels #rstats releases. Here's a summary of what's been going on with a focus on ordered outcomes and quantile regression.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on 1 April of Tomáš Kalibera, a valuable member of the R Core Team for close to 10 years, after a short but aggressive illness.
Tomáš brought in fresh perspective and knowledge, enabling him to improve many aspects of R, including performance and reliability. He created many tools to support package authors, and modernized the Windows build of R.
He is survived by his wife and 1 year old son. A full obituary will be posted in due time.
