@whalecoiner @jamesalegria @Amy_Hupe @heydon I don’t know much about pokemon but I love this thread and decided to do some research…

  • Altaria could be “SC 2.5.5: Target Size (Enhanced)”. Because it’s wrapped in padding.

  • Ditto could be “SC 1.4.8: Visual Presentation” because of the ability to take on almost any form.

  • Goruchu could be “SC 4.1.1: Parsing” because it was removed

I am really enjoying Mastodon in general, though. Even when the instance is slow, it's like: ah well, it'll be there later. A different pace of life, really.

The only thing that grates is all the "Hi TOURISTS, let me, someone who has used Mastodon for over a MONTH pontificate on how you are NOT using the fediverse quite to MY liking."

Yes, we should leave the toxicity of engagement optimized social media behind. But also let people do their thing.
