ACTION · A fisherfolk march against capitalist encroachment

In protest against a 2024 ruling by the Filipino supreme court that lifted restrictions on commercial fishing within the first fifteen kilometers off the Filipino coasts, PAMALKAYA-Pilipinas helped file a bill to protect local ecosystems and fisherfolk in October 2025. They also organized a protest on that day.

Resisting Feminicidal Violence: A Vigil for Memory, Solidarity and Justice

Every year, around 40 women or trans persons are murdered in the Netherlands because of their gender. On 25th of November 2025, Feministas Rotterdam gathered to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, raising their voices against sexual abuse, gender violence, and patriarchal oppression.

ACTION · Re-occupying land for displaced communities in Northern Sumatra

After an illegal eviction in 1968, the houses on the current re-occupation of the Padang Halaban land have been destroyed again in January. 

KontraS North Sumatra has erected a monument for the victims of the massacre and sustains the 150 residents taking refuge in the only building that stands: the mosque.

De burgeroorlog in Sudan staat niet los van grotere geopolitieke belangen en geldstromen. Dat vooral de inwoners van Darfur daar het slachtoffer van zijn is onaanvaardbaar!

Yalla for Sudan, the Sudanese Refugees Organisation en Droorbraak.eu organiseerden een demo in Amsterdam om de Nederlandse staat aan te sporen haar verantwoordelijkheid te nemen: sancties, humanitaire hulp en veilige vluchtroutes en asiel voor Sudanezen!

ACTION  · Turning the streets of Minna orange for victims of sexual violence

In December 2025, the SAFWGS organised an Orange Walk in the streets of Minna that drew over 500 protesors. The manifestation benefitted the community by launching a digital reporting and support platform for survivors of digital sexual violence, and offering basic health screenings.

ACTION · Encuentro de Juventudes del Este en Tucumán

In Argentina, the rise of the far right and fundamental evangelists make for an increase of forced conversion therapies for LGBTQ+ youth. Familias Diversas Tucumán has organised a day for youngsters to write a manifesto and action strategy. The day ended with the first ever pride march in the city of Los Ralos. For the right of all to live freely!! ✊

ACTION · A counter-demonstration for reproductive rights

In November 2025, the Dolle Mina’s organised a counter-demonstration to the annual anti-abortion "Silent March for Life” in The Hague. Over 1500 activists took to their own stage along the route to show that the Netherlands will not regress to the past but instead stands for the protection of abortion care.

ACTION · Singing for Naoko in the streets of Barcelona

Following the arrest of street artist Naoko for performing anti-war songs on a St Petersburg square, the Hermanas Rosas activists took to the streets of Barcelona to raise awareness about the increasing repression of young women and queer artists in Russia. They sang songs and streamed these online.

ACTION · Green Leone

In 2025 Green Leone  launched a community-led protest campaign to force the government of Sierra Leone to intervene in deforestation and illegal land grabbing in the Bo district. Over 100 activists marched to a local office of government and got officials to promise a more rigorous enforcement of environmental laws.

ACTION · Blocking parliament for accessible public transport

In September, Ostatnie Pokolenie blocked the exits of the Polish parliament to stand united against the rising carbon emissions in the Polish transport sector and the exclusion of nearly half the Polish population from public transport.
