I still don’t know what I’m doing here. So mostly just watching.
I love nature, photography, animals (especially cats), music on vinyl, cold plunges, weird humor, neardy stuff. And other things, I can’t remember this moment.
Don’t like, but am forced to live with ME/CFS in a country that still treats it as hysteria. And on top of that CPTSD.
Trying to stay positive even though it’s hard some days.

ā€œThe Family Petā€ Postcard from my collection, mailed 1910.
At the beach today, three teenagers - two boys and a girl - were trying to locate a lion’s mane jellyfish they’d spotted earlier.
The girl said to one of the guys, that if she got stung, he’d have to pee on her. He didn’t reply, but I overheard the other guy quietly and very softly say: ā€œI’d do itā€
I don’t think the others heard him and I had to walk away because I almost laughed out loud.
And now my mind switches between unanswered questions and imagining different storylines.

Yesterday I watched a doctor talking about how in order to reduce your dementia risk you should stand in sunlight every morning within ten minutes of waking up.

As someone who lives in Canada and worked 4am shifts for years, all I can say is uh, sure thing, dude...

It’s been almost a month, so the sea of dandelions has been replaced by long grass and a variety of flowers.
Summer is almost here.

"Long COVID did not create medicine’s discomfort with invisible illness. It exposed a preexisting pattern that millions of patients had been navigating for decades.

Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), fibromyalgia, dysautonomia, POTS — these conditions share remarkable clinical overlap with Long COVID, and they share something else too: a history of being dismissed, minimized, and inadequately researched"
