Gatekeeping is when someone or a group tries to control who gets access to resources, power, or opportunities. It's often disguised as "this is too secret to share" or "you wouldn't understand." But really, it's just a way of being exclusionary and elevating oneself above others.

Call out gatekeeping when you see it. We all deserve access to the resources and opportunities we need to succeed.

Concert at Petco. The Movement, Atmosphere, sublime with Rome, Slightly Stoopid.

If I can give one piece of life advice:

Whenever someone geeks about something in front of you, or admits an 'embarrassing' interest, just say:

"That sounds AMAZING. I don't know anything about that. Tell me about it."

Then just listen.

Not once in my life have I regretted it.
