Just a former freelance writer who, unable to decide if he wants to write something funny or something informative as his bio, ends up with neither.
Tired after work. Was going to go to bed. Then found out it was voting day and so I had to go and cancel out Dad's vote for the nearest fascist.
Trains cancelled because railway maintenance. Replacement bus cancelled because this country is falling apart at the seams. Why is it so hard is it to maintain even rudimentary public transport systems? The Victorians could do it with steam engines but we can't do it because why? This should be basic stuff. I'd write to my MP to complain, but of course, I don't fucking have one.

Second night of night school. My IT class is an odd bunch, I see myself at different ages among them, well, maybe three of them, and one of them is actually me. Don't question it. Point is we are all huge nerds.

If we weren't all so socially awkward there's totally a solid Dungeons and Dragons group there. But we are all very socially awkward.

It's for the best. The idea of a social group made up entirely of the weird nerdy ones from everybody else's social group twists my melon.

First day of college lads. Well, first day at night school. Well, first night at night school. Feeling like the universe is paying me back for not taking education seriously by delivering this surprise second breakfast of schooling.

Feeling old. Too old to be Jeff. Too young to be Pierce. I don't know how this is going to play out.

Just layering up those musical warm fuzzy feelings.
Or I guess to be exact, the time around playing GTA Vice City when I may have been listening to the soundtrack when not playing the game because it's just classics all day. And then the soundtrack in turn reminded me of being a little kid, hearing my siblings listening to 80s pop music and my sister making me mix tapes.
Listening to random old tunes and wondering is it weird that 80s music makes me nostalgic for GTA Vice City rather than the actual 1980s?

Got that #Starfield game and kind of feel bad for how nonplussed I am with it. Am I really so jaded that this gigantic game with all its many systems and pretty graphics doesn't impress me at all? Turns out yes, I am. So much game, so little character or excitement to it.

One for the modders though, because it's all there and it all functions. Plenty for them to get their teeth into.

Something has come up with work that has required me to reacquaint myself with Rocket League.

I tried to get out, but life dragged me back in.

I probably need to get a better Mastodon app for my phone it's been cheerfully blooping away at me all day and I still don't really use it on there. Desktop and browser based things for the win.
