A quiet space on the www.
Il faut cultiver son jardin.
In Cork, Ireland

A garden's rebirth 9 months after being caught in a devastating forest fire and everything was reduced to ashes. Resilience, hope and food security start in the home and in the garden.

No land, no soil? No problem. A single pot or window planter maintained with care can support a healthy diet in many ways. That's the magic of herbs.

One sowing many harvests

Here's a big bunch of parsley for the freezer. Enough to go through the winter untill the leaves grow strong again.

Green beans fresh from the garden in October? Yes please!
Climate changes... we adapt.

It's "just" a clematis left to grow in a bush. Not the nicest sight maybe, yet it provides spectacular white flowering first thing in Spring and beautiful sturdy shelter for our tiny friends year round.

Government response underway following confirmed sighting of an Asian Hornet

Every being deserves to be left in peace, no one should be systematically considered a threat, unfortunately asian hornets are extremely efficient hunters who can wipe out not only honey bee hives (bad news for wild native bees and professional beekeepers alike) but also other insects including solitary bees and nesting bumblebees.
French beekeepers have been battling with them for year and came up with a few strategies that will come useful to protect our pollinators.
