By day, I'm a Cloud Automation Engineer with experience in VCF 9, Ansible, pipelines, and other supporting technologies.

Nights and weekends, I like to bake bread, hike, and work on my home lab. I even occasionally blog about my home lab! If I get any good aurora pictures, I *will* post some of them here.

I'm slowly turning into a history nerd, with an interest in how the US has intervened all over the world, no matter the cost paid by the other country.

Finally put some gift cards towards a shade in the kitchen and why didn’t I do this *years* ago? It’s going to be so nice.

This window faces east, so every morning I get a dose of sunlight when I’m cooking breakfast. Now I can control that and I even went for a top down / bottom up shade. I can let in as much light as I want.

Mother Nature: lol, about that...

We're up to a few inches of snow where I am and the storm is still moving through for the next couple of hours. I'm glad I got done all my errands this morning, and stayed out for lunch, since now I'm just chilling at home watching some Hytale on Twitch.

Of all sites with a 2025 wrapped summary, LinkedIn has to be the one I’m the least interested in.

The job application process is broken, and LinkedIn absolutely doesn’t help with that.

Maybe in 2026 I’ll explore alternatives and finally dump it.
