Yesterday, I ventured out to Chehalem Ridge Nature Park for the first time. While the weather wasn't ideal (on a clear day, the Cascades can be seen from the top of Iowa Hill), the hike was lovely and I spotted much wildlife.

Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, Willamette Valley, Oregon.

A week ago I made my first visit to this tulip farm. While it cost more to get in than I would normally be willing to pay, I had never been, so bought a ticket to see what it was all about. While this is definitely not going to be a yearly outing, I had fun and the flowers were beautiful.
