Bluesky’s idea of a composable moderation system implies the existence of composable oppressions.
Marginalized people will obviously make use of these tools to their full extent, while your average straight white dude won’t have to do any work.
Once again, the burden of having to do the work to be able to use a platform safely falls on those who *need* those safety features.
This is the age old, outrageous, idea that it’s their own fault if some people are not safe online.
Unpopular opinion. Mozilla walking back on their experiments is vital to keep firefox competative, and 'AI' in browsers is the new normal. I'd rather like to see people use Mozilla's 'AI' than Microsoft or anyone else's.
But I do hope it doesn't mean that things like mozilla relay or mozilla.social gets completely cut out over time.

I love the clean look of the timeline without action buttons. However:
1) Without the drawer, it feels wasteful to have swipe left and tapping do the same thing. I wish I could choose what swipe left does (and be allowed to set two actions).
2) I wish there was an indication that a post has replies, so I don't have to open posts, just to see that there's no replies.
(Also, what's the deal with having the character count so I can't see it when I'm close to the limit? See images.)
