The Battle of Chile (Parts 1 and 2)
See the incredible power of verité filmmaking to document the slide to authoritarianism in Chile in 1973, a deep look at a broad array of forces such as partisan infighting and foreign interference (in this case by the US). The most "like-you-were-there" I've ever felt watching a movie.
