I own way too many clicky keyboards. I love relaxing in hammock chairs and I have deeply obscure Simpsons references for every situation.

It uses a cryptocurrency (because moving actual money around for that is astonishingly hard and it's simpler to move the virtual currency instead, then the web sites can convert to real money).
I personally never used Brave but i've always been delighted by the concept and wished this had caught on.
@alice it absolutely is and I recommend trying it! They're stretching muscles I didn't even know I had.
I'm really tall and I sit for a living so my body just gets so inflexible. It's this incredible bit of joy when I am doing something around the house and bend way down to reach and suddenly realize that it's painless when I previously would have really felt something.
Also: you can likely use FSA dollars to pay for stretches.
@alice ok but fr I do have a membership at Stretch Lab and once a week I go in and they just stretch my body for an hour and it's just glorious.
@collin my team is using Linear right now. It’s ok.
The thing that I have a bee in my bonnet about lately is that all these tools feel like I’m interacting with a fucking database instead of just keeping track of some stuff.
Like, a board with sticky notes on it feels so nice because I get this visceral and intuitive sense of how a project is doing. All these tools chop up the data five different ways into these table views and summarizations that all feel disconnected from the tasks.
@rosyna I feel this to my core. If exorbitant wealth landed on my lap I'd be such a great billionaire.
@searls This feels like the kind of observation that comes naturally after you have spent years being a consultant and really internalizing that the best software is really good plumbing between different systems and people.
@gedeonm also this probably isn’t a super representative sample of US citizens; I suspect Mastodon just attracts a more worldly group.

I’m hoping to get Anwar a little more support here. If you’re a US citizen you’ve already spent plenty of your tax dollars giving Israel money to destroy his home country, why not kick a few extra bucks a week/month to help him take care of his family?
Also he is verified on @gazaverified so you can give with confidence.
@searls the thing that really disappointed me about Claude was learning that Claude Code’s TUI is a lie and it’s actually some kind of React bullshit under the hood.
Now I love the web as a platform but with code being much easier to generate now it’s a shame that reflex to re-use web platform code on all platforms is enraging.
