Hanna's Readings

"Oh, this book is about wise effort that can improve your life, but you need a journal and to deeply reflect on a lot of things in your life. But it's definitely going to help you, I promise!"

Diana Hill describes each person's uniqueness as a form of genius energy. You might think she's going to talk about the talents and characteristics of each of us, but it's much deeper than that.

Finished this book yesterday, and while preparing the review, I'm having a hard time figuring out who it might help. For me, it was a great reminder to be compassionate with myself and others and actively remember my values. But what if someone has never thought about their own abilities to improve their life? Well, this was fun!

The story moves at a very fast pace, but for me this often came at the expense of tension and realism. Challenges are resolved quickly, allies are immediately helpful, and enemies are hostile from the moment they appear, which makes events feel a bit too easy and predictable.

The King of Light the Order of the Dark Gods by Federico Carro | Book review

One of the main issues I had with the book is how easily things unfold for the characters. Allies are friendly and supportive from the very first moment they appear, while enemies are immediately h…
